Ark pups need a home

CHARTWELL – Ark Animal Centre in Chartwell has some adorable puppies and dogs up for adoption.

BEST FRIEND: Slinky is an eight-month-old female medium mixed breed who is very friendly.

The centre is one of the leading rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing shelters in South Africa. They are a non-profit organisation which specialises in the homing and care of puppies as well as pregnant dogs.They currently have a number of dogs and puppies up for adoption such as shy five-month-old medium mixed breed, Sparkle and lazy 12-week-old Jack Russell cross, Vegas.

Tracy Otto, manager of Ark Animal Centre, said the adoption fee of R900 included inoculations, a rabies shot, de-worming and sterilisation when the puppy reaches six months of age.
