Donation day for Lonehill company
LONEHILL - Property.CoZa Lonehill took a day out of their busy work schedule to donate to not one but two worthy causes in their community.
The team first visited the Fourways Blood Donor Centre in Pineslopes to donate blood. They identified this as a need due to the shortage that the South African National Blood Service has been experiencing. Property.CoZa has committed to donating blood on a regular basis.
After the blood donation, the team visited The Baby House in Lonehill to donate food, toys and clothes to the babies and toddlers. The house is a non-profit organisation which was started in 2011.It has given homes to 21 babies over the years and currently has six babies in need of homes.
On top of their donation of clothes and toys, Property.CoZa donated R1 000 to the house. This donation will help the home to pay rent and buy food for the babies and toddlers.
Property.CoZa would like to challenge all companies in Fourways to take up their own charity endeavours and perhaps also donate to the good cause that is The Baby House.
