Q -Power Pool Club joins the big boys in SA pool

SUNINGHILL - Q-Power Pool Club is set to enter the the Black Pool League and the SA 9Ball this year, growing the status of pool and snooker all over the country.

Sunninghill pool club manager Markus Janse van Rensburg has high hopes for South African pool and on the 16 April will enter his club, Q-Power Pool Club in the Black Ball Pool League.

The club opened in January and with a growing list of players from areas such as Sunninghill and Midrand, it is proving to be a great opportunity for players from all over to show off their skills. The club is opened to players of all ages, and hosts a terrific and relaxed atmosphere for people from all walks of life to play.

“Pool is definitely growing in Johannesburg and all over South Africa and we expect a great turn out,” said Janse van Rensburg, and with a set league to compete in, players stand a chance to qualify on a provincial and national level with South African colours up for grabs.

Janse van Rensburg said that many of the players were beginners and people who just enjoyed a good game of pool, but they were going to organise for professional players to come teach the novices the tricks of the trade.
