A fabulous woman
JOBURG - A Fourways resident has been acknowledged for her achievements.
Pontsho Manzi scooped two awards at the South African Premier Business Awards at Sandton Convention Centre. Manzi walked away with the DTI 2014 South African Premier Business Young Entrepreneur Award and the Play Your Part Award.
Manzi is a businesswoman, publisher, author, professional speaker, facilitator, coach and image consultant. She is a qualified human resources practitioner, but her determination led her to leave formal employment and start the Botlhokwa Group.
Botlhokwa is a holding company with three subsidiaries, Recrutrain, which does training and recruitment; FabImage which specialises in image consulting; and Bonisa Media, the publishing house for Fabulous Woman magazine and Diary for a Fabulous You.
Manzi is the first black woman to author an annual inspirational diary for women, Diary for a Fabulous You. She sees her publishing company as a platform to discuss evocative issues that concern women.
She believes that it is her life purpose to provide a platform to catalyse the upliftment and empowerment of women in South Africa.
She also established a non-profit organisation, Fabulous Foundation for Girls in 2009 to empower young women and girls. Manzi coaches and trains girls on leadership skills, self-esteem and personal branding.
