Season 3 Auditions for South Africa’s hottest cooking show is coming to Fourways Less than a minute

COOKIN' COMPETITION: The season 3 auditions of Masterchef SA are expected to bring thousands of aspiring cooks to Montecasino.

The auditions for season 3 of South Africa’s hottest cooking show, Masterchef SA are under way, and with Cape Town and Durban setting the high culinary standard, Johannesburg hopes to impress on 1 March.

The event will be held at the Pivot Conference Centre at Montecasino. Thousands of aspirant cooks are expected to line up for the chance to test their mettle in front of the preliminary judges from the South African Chefs’ Association.

Queuing will begin as early as 6am and contestants are expected to bring pre-prepared cold dishes which will be tasted by the judges.

There will be snacks and water served at the venue and family and friends are welcome to offer support.
