Unity College pupils took on the challenge of swimming in the ‘big pool’ at Heronbridge College.
There were a few new Unity traditions that were made during the gala, such as the first-ever parents’ race and teachers race which delighted the pupils.
Unity pupils gave it their all but in the end the Red Bishops triumphed, followed closely by the Blue Cranes and the Yellow Weavers.
Although the Yellow Weavers did not manage to come first in any of the races they cheered on their team mates as well as the rest of the Unity College pupils. For their efforts they took home the spirit trophy.
