All pupils and staff were encouraged to come up with some creative ideas for turning a normal pair of flip-flops into something funky.
Crawford’s creativity shone through with some thrilling creations that were worn on pupils’ feet on the second Friday of the school year.
Some flip-flops were worn around arms, legs, as earrings, or even tied to other flops.
A donation of R10 was asked from all pupils who wore flip-flops to school.
The school managed to raise almost R9000 for Imagine: The Stuart Hawley Rainbow Foundation.
The foundation was started to support children with cerebral palsy and has a goal to build a school for children who are not able to attend mainstream schooling.
