BEAULIEU - The dance team of Beaulieu College competed in the inter-high dance competition which was held at Parktown Girls.

The theme for this year’s competition was Off the Wall. Parktown Girls High , Beaulieu College, Dainfern College, Queens High School, St Mary’s, St Peter’s College and Crawford College (Lonehill) participated in the event.

“Beaulieu College’s dancing team members worked very hard over a period of time to prepare themselves for this competition. The atmosphere was tense whilst the judges were getting the results together,” said Lynette Grey of Beaulieu.

The talented (Troy Ackermann????) was awarded the trophy for best dancer as well as best choreography. The school also won best voluntary dance and came first overall.

“The dancers worked very hard and spent hours in preparation for the evening. The costume design was extraordinary and special mention has to be made to Jordan Ackermann for his artistic input with the dancing attire. Our pupils deserved the excellent results,” said Grey.
