Crawford footballer makes school proud
The young football fanatic started playing at the age of five and has always been a top player in the school teams, shared Louise Clarke-Mathers from the school.
Augustine Lumbala is an all-round sportsman, but his passion is soccer. He is the captain of the U13 school team, where they train three times a week. He was also chosen to compete in the district team trials earlier this year and was selected to represent Gauteng as a Left Back. The Gauteng Soccer Team came third in the tournament.

She added: “With all the training at school and soccer camps, he has learnt many fundamental soccer skills that every player should master. His favourite move is the ‘body feint’ which is when you beat the defender with a drop of the shoulder. Augustine is driven to follow in his brothers’ footsteps and play for a University overseas one day.”
