Charity fun for Lonehill residents

Lonehill Residents Associate kills two birds with one stone in a walk for change.

Not only do they want to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle but they also feel the need to upgrade the infrastructure of their community.

For those reasons, the Lonehill community chose July 22 to host their annual 5km charity run.

Media spokesperson of Lonehill Residents Association, Shelly Miller said, “We have a sponsor, Otter Estates, and they will once again cover the full costs to allow us to host this event. This will allow the proceeds from the entry fee to go towards upgrading the Lonehill Park kiddie’s playground.”

She added the event would start at 15:00 in Lonehill Park and would continue on the Lonehill loop of Calderwood Road, to Concourse Crescent and Crestwood Drive.

“Thereafter, we will go back to Lonehill Park. The park will be buzzing with activity, food vendors and fun prize giveaways for residents to enjoy.”
