Astrologist from Dehli brings predictions for the Fourways community at recent shopping festival

Dehli-based astrologist and psychic, Nikhil Gulati is no stranger to South Africa from his travels to the country and his providing of astrological predictions.

A Dehli-based astrologist travelled with a number of business owners from India to be a part of the Made in India Shopping Festival at Fourways Mall.

Nikhil Gulati (48) travels to South Africa once or twice every year. However, visiting the country is not his only connection to Mzansi.
Gulati also provides astrology readings to various media outlets in his home country, as well as in the South African media industry. He said that at the beginning of every year, he makes a prediction which he discusses live on Indian and South African radio stations. He has previously given predictions on SABC’s Lotus FM, based in Durban.

“Astrology is an ancient Indian science that is often like a motivational therapy and guidance to a person. It’s like how there are psychics or life coaches. It’s more or less the same thing, and here you would use the stars and the planets to make a prediction,” he said.
Gulati has been involved with astrology since his university days in his early 20s and added that many people in the country visit an astrologer to create a horoscope for their children when they are born to see what the future holds for the young child.

The astrologist has visited about 18 countries and said that in South Africa, Johannesburg and Durban are the places he enjoys visiting.
The Made in India Shopping Festival in Johannesburg was held from February 4 to 19, with the next leg of the festival travelling down to Durban to continue bringing a variety of Indian products, traditional clothing, jewellery, shoes, foods and much more.
