Psychology degrees await Fourways twins

Fourways High School alumni Andrea and Sarah McIlroy psych themselves up for university journey in psychology.

The McIlroy twins are ready to take on the psychology field following the completion of their high school journey.

The now Fourways High School alumni, Andrea and Sarah McIlroy said they were feeling relieved since receiving their results.
Sarah said she will be working towards her psychology degree at Varsity College, and a similar path awaits her sister, Andrea.
“I’ll be studying psychology and criminology. There’s a bit of law in there, so I might do law afterward,” she said.

Looking back at their time at the high school, the sisters said their time at the school went by very fast.
“Grade 8 was stressful because it’s a new school and you don’t know what’s happening. Grade 9 was probably my best year,” said Andrea.

“Grade 10 hit, and with it came Covid and that’s when things went a bit downhill. But we made it work, and we had a great time here.”
