Police investigate business robbery and shooting at Fourways Crossing

Police confirmed that eight armed men robbed an electric device store while firing shots.

Douglasdale police have confirmed a business robbery and shooting that took place earlier today [October 23] at Fourways Crossing.

Douglasdale Police Station’s Brigadier Veeshani Arikum said the police are still on scene. “It was a business robbery, eight men entered the store and took cameras. Shots were fired, but there was no damage to property or any injuries.”

The centre has been contacted and will only be able to make a statement tomorrow, October 24.
