Teachers and learners at Cedarwood Preparatory School paint classes while in colourful traditional attire
Learners at Cedarwood Preparatory School celebrate Heritage Day in style.
Cedarwood Preparatory School hosted a Heritage Day celebration at the school on September 23 as part of this year’s Heritage Month celebrations.
Learners and teachers at the school were asked to come wearing their preferred traditional attire.
The marketing manager at the school Lisa Ellis said each class was given an opportunity to choose its preferred South African language which they presented in a fun and informative way.
“The school was ‘painted’ with a mixture of bright colours as learners and teachers brought their best South African traditional attire. Our learners also prepared an interesting food display with delicious tasters for all to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our diversity as a school and as a country.”
