Special Olympics South Africa raised more than R100 000 at this year’s polar plunge fundraising event

Celebrities participated in this year’s annual polar plunge event to help to raise funds for team South Africa

Special Olympics South Africa held its sixth annual Polar Plunge event at Altitude Beach in Fourways on September 10.

Scores of celebrities including professional soccer players, media personalities and actors attended the event and plunged into ice-freezing water to help raise funds for the 2022 Special Olympics South Africa National Games taking place in Limpopo in October.
