White-collar boxing brings socialites and fans to Lonehill pub

Continuing for the 36th instalment of white-collar boxing, local residents and boxing fans got to enjoy nine fights at Lock Stock and Beer in Lonehill.

World Boxing Entertainment (WBE) welcomed back another set of boxing matches at Lock Stock and Beer on August 31 where locals were treated to high-intensity matches.

Nine matches were lined up to make the archetypal boxing fan ready for the WBE35 event in Lonehill. Each fight consisted of three rounds that lasted two minutes.

For this week’s edition of People, Places and Faces, Fourways Review journalist Khomotso Makgabutlane got to attend the festivities and capture the moments where spectators and fighters waited eagerly for fights to begin. The last bout of fights will take place on October 26 at Lock, Stock and Beer.
