Crawford Lonehill security guards receive training with assistance from Fidelity management

Training sessions organised by members of Crawford International Lonehill saw security guards received training to maintain the high standard of service to the school’s staff and visitors.

Crawford International Lonehill recently held a training session for the security guards at the school.

The ‘Be the best for your guest’ training session offered by the school aimed to continue the school’s six-star service to staff, parents, learners and visitors which also includes keeping everyone safe and secure at all times.
Crawford client experience officers Robyn Swanepoel and Louise Mathers, who attended Train-the-Trainer programme through TrainingMania, arranged the training at the school’s pre-primary, preparatory and college campuses. They had assistance from Fidelity management.

The training is an entry-level skills-building programme that places emphasis on the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to create customer-serving interactions and a guest-orientated mindset. The training’s focus is to build the interpersonal and process skills needed to assist the Crawford International Lonehill community as well as the critical skills needed to improve the quality of each interaction.
“The interaction with our security staff was amazing and the training was exceptionally well received. It was wonderful for them to know just how valued they are in the Crawford Lonehill community.

“Our commitment and vision is to ensure service excellence at every touch point and to provide the memorable service experiences, our guests have come to know and expect,” said Swanepoel.

Nancy Sebake, a security officer at the college, said she so enjoyed the training and would love to have a refresher training every few months.
“It just makes us all realise that the experience of visitors and students to our campus starts with us and not just from reception.
“I also realise that our job is more than just opening and closing the gate and keeping our Crawford families and staff safe. It is much bigger than that. I enjoyed learning new ideas to make this the best school.”
