Wolmarans described her fight with Chisale as one of the toughest fights she had ever fought in her career as a professional boxer.

Two judges of the bout gave the score 97–93 in favour of Wolmarans while the third judge gave her 96–94 after 10 bruising rounds.

“We realised from the first round that the opponent was going to give me a tough time. I did my best to find her weak points in order to capitalise on them. She is a good fighter and her record speaks for itself,” she said.

Wolmarans said she was hoping for more fights this year after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions.

“I’ve been craving for fights for the past two years after my fight was cancelled at the 11th hour last year. I hope to get more fights this year.”
