SAPS warns job seekers of a scam circulating
JOBURG – There are no vacancies for new recruits to join the SAPS at the moment and there are also no internship posts advertised, said the SAPS in a social media post.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has warned the public following a scam that has been circulating on social media platforms regarding police job post vacancies.
In a social media post, the SAPS said the messages were fake and possibly a scam.
“There are no vacancies for new recruits to join the SAPS at the moment and there are also no internship posts advertised,” read the post.

The public has been advised to use the SAPS website to view updated information on advertised posts.
The SAPS added that they would never ask for a fee to apply for an advertised post.
