A big barking thank you from 4Paws Animal Shelter
RIVERSANDS – Thanks to a donation from SPAR South Rand, the 4Paws Animal Shelter has a large donation of pet food to keep their dog's tummies full.
In these uncertain times, the 4Paws Animal Shelter has much to be grateful for.
The non-profit organisation, which cares for about 300 dogs and cats that would otherwise be left unloved and uncared for, received a huge donation of pet food on 23 March from SPAR South Rand located in Boksburg. The food will be used to feed the dogs at the shelter, which range from puppies to adult dogs.
“Lloyd Pienaar and Anthony Roux [supporters of the organisation] asked Marlene Urquhart from SPAR for the donation on our behalf,” explained Tammy Knepscheld, the shelter manager for 4Paws. “They donated to us, the Woodrock Animal Shelter and Paws R Us.”
4Paws currently depends on public donations and support in order to continue its work. Members of the public are welcome to donate money, supplies and even second-hand goods that the organisation can sell to raise funds.
