Midrand Police Station Commander Brigadier David Tsotsotso wishes the community of Midrand a safer festive season:
To all the law enforcement agencies and community structures partnering with the police in our fight against crime, we want to say thank you for your commitment, unwavering support and hard work during 2019.
We urge everyone in our precinct to get involved in crime-fighting initiatives including involvement with the community policing forum. We can never over-emphasise the importance of community involvement in our quest to fight crime, and without your involvement, we’re doomed.
Shoppers are advised to properly secure their vehicles and ensure that they do not leave any valuables that may attract criminals to break into their cars. To those that will be celebrating Christmas, may you have the joy and blessings accompanied by the season.
