SANDTON – Nominations for the Sandton Community Policing Forum are now open.

Elections for the Sandton Community Policing Forum (CPF) will be taking place in the near future.

In accordance with the legislation, this means all current Sandton CPF Executive Committee members; sector committees and Sandton Victim Empowerment Programme members must step down by the date on which their elective annual general meetings take place. This process excludes Sector 4 and Sandton CPF Guardians, which had special elective AGMs earlier this year.

The general public is welcome and encouraged to submit nominations that meet the selection criteria.

Nominees are required to live in the sector in which they are applying to represent. Nominees are required to undergo police clearance in order to qualify, which is a straightforward process that takes place at the Sandton Police Station.

For nomination forms, please call Sandton CPF liaison officer Yogi Govender on 011 722 4317 (Monday to Thursday, 9am to 2pm) or email
