1 May: Adventure Tales Workshop 17

Adventure tales workshop 17 is hosted by the running company with speaker, Naomi Brand. In 2018 Brand and Xavier Briel ran around Lake Malawi to raise awareness for the African pangolin. Brand will share how the journey went and inspire other runners as well. Tickets available at Quicket at R150.

4 May: Doritos Presents festival de Mexico brought to you bwy Sol and 5fm

At the festival, you can enjoy music from SA’s biggest artist, good ambience, food and a whole lot more fun for the entire family. Doritos will also launch their new flavour. Tickets range from 100 to R250, kids under 13 pay R50 and kids under 18 pay R80.

4 May: Sandton Market @ the park

Following the launch of its first market last month, Sandton Market @ the Park in Sandton Central will again be hosting the lifestyle market on Saturday, 4 May. Patrons can again enjoy an all-round fun gathering for family and friends who are looking to enjoy a combination of the serenity the park offers away from the bustle of Sandton with some of the fun activities the Market has to offer. Tickets only cost R10. Food at drinks will be available by the various vendors. You will not be allowed to bring food purchased externally

11 May: Field Market – May edition

17 May: Arnold Sports Festival

Arnold Sports Festival at Sandton Convention Centre, Sandton Central from Friday, 17 to Sunday, 19 May.

Three years ago, four South African bodybuilding and sports enthusiasts collaborated to make the Arnold Sports Festival a reality on the African continent under the broad theme ‘My Sport, My Passion’.

In partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Government and the SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc), Arnold Classic Africa affords athletes the opportunity to compete in an international competition, against participants from all continents, in Africa. Like its global counterparts, the African rendition embraces numerous sporting codes and promotes these through demonstrations, contests, and record attempts and sports celebrities over three days each May.

25 May: Mother’s Day Bootcamp

Come join us on our health and fitness event at Knockout Legends. We will have a boxing and fitness session with the awesome trainers from Knockout Legends and then we will end with a banging dance session with Takkies and Mpumi.

25 May: Rock Radio

Come enjoy some of the best music ever created as the Barnyard Theatre Rivonia takes you through 60 years of top rock radio hits! The event is in support of the EduLift SA organisation, which aims to provide support to underprivileged learners in need, and volunteers will also be having exciting raffles on the night.
