Brigadier Thambo leaves Douglasdale Police Station

Douglasdale Police Station Commander, Brigadier Sammy Thambo has been transferred to Katlehong Police Station with immediate effect.

Thambo joined Douglasdale Police Station in October 2017. He has been at the helm of different police stations such as Koster, Schweizer-Reneke, Ventersdorp, Boksburg North and Germiston police stations. Before being deployed to Douglasdale, Thambo was head of the human resources development division that renders training in the South Police Service in Pretoria.

“The Douglasdale Community Police Forum would like to thank Brigadier Thambo for his contribution to Douglasdale and wish him well in the future,” said Douglasdale CPF.

Colonel Moeti Senna has been appointed to act as a Station Commander at Douglasdale Police Station until further notice.
