Alleged copper cable thieves are apprehended in Sunninghill
SUNNINGHILL – Sandton police have recently arrested copper criminals.

Four alleged copper cable thieves were arrested in Sunninghill on 13 November.
According to a spokesperson for the Sandton Police Station, Captain Granville Meyer, the men, between 26 and 33 years old, were arrested after police members were patrolling the area.
“The police officers searched their bags and found the mixed copper cables. The copper weighed six kilograms,” Meyer said.
He explained that the suspects are currently in detention and will soon appear in court.
