#WomenInBusiness: How to manage teamwork to optimise productivity
FOURWAYS – It was a day of learning about teamwork recently when Hirsch's Fourways hosted its monthly ladies networking meeting.
Recently Hirsch’s Fourways hosted its monthly ladies networking morning, where the store gives back to local business ladies by providing a free platform for them to network and promote their businesses.
The guest speaker was the charismatic Steve Schwartz who, besides being an accomplished facilitator and presenter, owns an events company as well as an online radio station, Platinum Gold.
“Teamwork is often misunderstood as a simple way to align thinking and efforts. It is, however, much more complicated and if not managed properly, can be detrimental to any productivity and efficiency of a company or brand,” he said.
“Steve showed how it is a play-off between mathematics, logic and human behaviour. He explained how to avoid the pitfalls and acquire better results through properly managed and regulated teamwork,” said Sharron Dingle, the public relations officer for the store.
“We also had the pleasure of hosting one of the finalists for Mrs Johannesburg, the beautiful and talented Kirsty Joffe,” she concluded.
