Mrs Johannesburg visits Fourways
PINESLOPES – It was a mixture of beauty and business at the recent business networking event hosted by Hirsch's Home Store.
Hirsch’s Fourways held their monthly business networking morning on 26 September aimed at local entrepreneurs and business people.
“This is a forum where business people can safely and effectively network to grow their businesses. Today we had the privilege of hosting Pamela Niemand as our guest speaker,” said Sharron Dingle of the store.
“Not only is she the current Mrs Johannesburg, but she also has her own successful business. She is a beautiful lady both inside and out and she practically filled the room with her presence.
“In her talk, she set out to explain how we are each our own brand and how we should approach setbacks by thinking out of the box.”
Niemand took the time to share her experiences in the world of business and give the audience words of encouragement. “By thinking outside the box you stand more chance of shining and being successful and most of all [being] memorable. You need to work at being different. You can do this easily by starting with the basics – be on time, your word is your bond.”
Hirsch’s Fourways also had some of the finalists from Mrs Johannesburg visit on the day, including Kirsty Joffee and Tshego Mathe. Mrs Gauteng finalist Annerette Odendaal also attended the networking event.
