Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve’s billboard has been ‘poached’
LANSERIA – And now the reserve is calling on community members to assist them in locating the billboard.
The Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve’s new billboard has gone missing from where it had been erected near the Lanseria Airport.
The nature reserve has put an appeal on its website and Facebook page for community members to help them locate the new billboard which was put up earlier this month.
According to ENCA, the billboard was 18m long and 4.5m high.
The nature reserve said on its website, “We’re offering a VIP family weekend at the reserve for any information that will help us solve the mystery. #poachedbillboard.”
TimesLive further reports that the nature reserve said that this was not a ‘publicity stunt’, and, according to News24, the reserve’s brand manager said that the billboard found that the billboard was missing a week after they had erected it.
The Krugersdorp News spoke to the group marketing manager for the reserve who reportedly said that the correct licencing for the board was in place.
