FOURWAYS GARDENS – The children of Junior College Preschool Fourways Gardens were excited to keep the needy warm this Mandela Day while Cedarwood School in Kyalami celebrated 100 years since Madiba's birth.

The staff and children from Cedarwood School in Kyalami honoured Madiba's birthday on 18 July, when the former South African president and anti-apartheid icon would have turned 100 years old.

Junior College Preschools Gardens collected blankets for Mandela Day, which were donated to the Kids Haven.

The little ones from the school were so excited about their donation that they helped load all the blankets on the truck. Chenelle Walker, principal of Junior College Preschools Gardens, expresses that she appreciates and is happy with the number of donations from parents and staff of the preschool, and hopes to continue this project moving forward.
