Moms land special gifts from Montecasino

MAGALIESSIG – These are the winners of the Mother's Day competition.

In commemoration of Mother’s Day, Fourways Review, in partnership with Montecasino, ran a competition for mothers who enjoyed breakfast, lunch or dinner at any of their restaurants costing up to R250.

Known as a day filled with spoils for mothers from their families, mothers stood a chance of winning exciting prizes.

After a lucky draw by Montecasino representatives, the fortunate mothers were: 1st, Allyssa Reddy; 2nd, Bhavna Maharaj and 3rd, Romeshni Govender.

The winners were handed their prizes at a formal handover at the entertainment destination, as Caxton Joburg North Group Editor, Daniella Potter was present.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Reddy wasn’t present at the handover. She won a three-night dinner, bed and breakfast at the Drakensberg Sun Resort.

Maharaj won a nomination bracelet, theatre tickets, a Mangwanani voucher, Double Bird garden tickets, Fit Flops and a one-night stay at Southern Sun Montecasino.

“It came as a shock to me because I normally don’t win anything. My sister-in-law was the one who filled in the entry ticket with my details on it and when I was called I couldn’t believe that I actually won. It was a wonderful day out to spend with my family.”

Govender won a one-night stay at Southern Sun Montecasino and meal voucher from La Rosa. “I am ecstatic about getting this prize because I don’t normally enter competitions and actually win. It is a first in a decade since I won anything, so this is a real treat.

“I chose Montecasino because there is always something to do here; it’s very family orientated and I had a wonderful time spending my Mother’s Day here.”

Marketing host duty manager of Montecasino, Tshidi Moroane stated the competition went very well and was glad they hosted such a competition for mothers. “I wish the first prize winner was here but well done to all the winners.”
