Future City Fourways speaks out on Lanseria rock throwing incident
LANSERIA – Community group, Future City Fourways, speaks out against rock throwing at vehicles.
Community group, Future City Fourways (FCF), has spoken out against the recent rock throwing at vehicles.
In a Facebook post, FCF said they find the action disgusting and shocking. This comes after a head-on collision in Lanseria that is alleged to have resulted from rocks thrown at one of the trucks.
FCF said they have lodged strong motivation with the South African Police Service and the Johannesburg Metro Police Department for drastic action and called on residents using routes in Lanseria to be vigilant and report all suspicious activity to the police immediately.
Future City Fourways condemned these acts, “It’s clear some criminal element has decided to emulate what has been going on in KZN. We all, as a community, must stand against such criminal conduct, and no grievance can justify such dangerous behaviour.”
