St Peter’s College matrics: A class of their own

SUNNINGHILL – St Peter's College's 119 matriculants attained a 100 per cent pass rate with a 96 per cent bachelors degree pass.

St Peter’s College’s headmaster, Rui Morais said, “On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of St Peter’s College, it is both a privilege and an honour for me to congratulate the matric class of 2017 on an outstanding set of results, which further reinforces our reputation for academic excellence.

“I want to thank our deputy headmistress of academics, Mrs Shelly Matthews; our Grade 12 head, Mrs Cornel Malan; the heads of department; members of our academic faculty; as well as our administrative and support staff who together have created an environment which is conducive to our students attaining academic excellence.”

The matrics who achieved seven distinctions were:

  • Hannah Leatherbarrow who plans to study medicine
  • Meghan Hoffmann who wants to study BFA in illustration for animated films and storyboarding
  • Teagan Leroni who plans to study biological sciences
  • Erin Lyle who plans to study BCom accounting.

Six distinctions:

  • Adrian Diepeveen who plans to study chartered accounting
  • Alessandro Gueli who plans to study a Bachelor of Arts
  • Jason Raw who plans to study BCom accounting science.

Five distinctions:

  • Tapiwanashe Mungadzi who plans to study a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
  • Promesse Nkongolo who plans to study medicine
  • Caitlin Stanton who plans to study business science and law
  • Chanel Thomas who plans to study a BSc.

Four distinctions:

  • Caitlin Bartie who plans to study design engineering
  • Daniel de Castro who plans to study a Bcom accounting
  • Erin Hepplewhite who plans to study BA information design
  • Praneetha Kalidindi who plans to study chemical engineering
  • Alvaro Legoinha who plans to study biology
  • Brent Pedersen who plans to study law
  • Tiffany Theron who plans to study a liberal arts degree
  • Caitlin Tucker who plans to study film and media.

Three distinctions:

  • Enhakkore Bope who plans to study physiotherapy
  • Keileigh Nikayla Chetty who plans to study BCom accounting science
  • Hope Karaha who plans to study BA law
  • Jemma Mould who plans to study fine arts.
  • Ronewa Netshiswinzhe who plans to study actuarial science
  • Kirithi Panchoo who plans to study a BSc
  • Liam Ramsden who plans to study bio-medical engineering
  • Daniel Schurbohm who plans to study BSc applied mathematics
  • Zoe Swoboda who plans to study architecture.
