Jaci Tibbit, the current Mrs Johannesburg placed second out of nine women in the 2017 Women of Valor Awards.

She was nominated by a member of the community for the Women of Valor Network and was runner-up for the Inspiration Women Award.

“I was pleasantly surprised and excited to have received the nomination,” she said. “Whilst it is not only an honour to stand for what the Women of Valor ethos is – in giving back by connecting, motivating and encouraging women – which is a big passion of mine, it was also truly humbling to receive first runner-up as further recognition on this journey in life.”

Karien Henrico, the founder of Women of Valor Network believes the sooner you can harvest your passion and grow it to become your calling, the more fulfilled your life will be. Henrico’s dream is to motivate, uplift, encourage and strengthen women through networking.

Numerous women, young and old, were recognised for the role they play in society at the awards. The fabulous night gave the nominees the opportunity to share their stories and motivations.
