Inter-estate soccer matches at Kyalami Estates

FOURWAYS – Eagle Canyon, Northerns, Cedar Lakes and Kyalami Knight Riders Football Clubs participated in an inter estate soccer festival last Saturday at Kyalami Residential Estate. Read here to be part of the fun.

Inter-estate friendly soccer matches were the spirit of the day at Kyalami Estates.

According to soccer coach Peter Grgin, all the teams performed outstandingly, from ages four to eleven. The crowd support for all the teams was boisterous which played a great part in the enthusiasm of the players.

“We held a raffle to raise funds for Ark Animal Rescue Centre and managed to collect over R2 000 for this worthy cause,” said Grgin.

Special thanks were given to Elizabeth McKenzie and Tanya Mohr of Fine and Country Real Estate, Midrand, for sponsoring a gift hamper as a prize. The winner was Jessica Botha of Eagle Canyon Estate.

“Well done to all,” concluded Grgin.
