Soapie Saturday for 7de Laan cast members at Hirsch’s Fourways

On Saturday, 22 July the 7de Laan team arrived at Hirsch’s Fourways with one goal in mind. The actors, producers and team members were bubbling over all smiles while they spent the day filling the air with lots of bubbles as they washed the cars of the Fourways community.
Most of the fans had the same idea. They took selfies with their favourite actors as soon as they got out of their cars. “The more cars we wash today, the more bellies we will fill,” said former Mr South Africa Marcus Muller, also known as 7de Laan’s André Vosloo.
Domestic workers empowered through Hirsch’s monthly workshop
While the soapie stars washed their cars, community members enjoyed coffee and ‘Boeriewors’ rolls.
“We had amazing music as well. Pop-up coffee shop Coffee 2 Go provided refreshments to clients as well as participants. 7de Laan actors had a photo opportunity with fans and photos were snapped both inside and outside the store,” said Sharron Dingle, public relations officer at Hirsch’s Fourways.
Hirsch’s and the 7de Laan team haven’t decided on a beneficiary yet but will let the community know as soon as a decision has been made.
Hirsch’s Fourways thanked 7de Laan, SABC2, Libri Carwash, LG Electronics and Big Green Egg for the amazing day in the sun.
