After a house fire broke out at the Monte Pollino complex in Beverley, the community was very concerned when they heard that the fire department’s fire engine was not working. After a prompt response from the MMC’s office, the fire engine was repaired and returned to the fire department.
Jean Berdou, chairperson of Future City Fourways said, “Future City Fourways is delighted that the fire station has its full functionality restored. We are pleased that the station is also due to receive one of the new state of the art fire units on order from the city. This will mean that the station will have outstanding and enhanced capabilities.”
