Domestic workers empowered through Hirsch’s monthly workshop

FOURWAYS – Hirsch Fourways reminds domestic workers how beautiful they are and what their worth.

Hirsch Fourways recently held their monthly networking workshop for domestic workers.

Sharron Dingle, Hirsch Fourways Public Relations Officer, motivated and empowered the women who attended the workshop to believe in themselves. She also reminded them of the important role they play as domestic workers.

Derrick Kinder, the owner of Kinder Group Security, spoke to them about crime and how to react when you encounter crime. He told the group how important it is to stay calm and gather as much information as possible during a crime to help the police with their investigation.

Dingle showed the women how to make perfect scrambled eggs and they all received two recipes.

“We also did the monthly award for Domestic of the Month run by Hirsch. Gloria Mnthinzi was surprised when she received the award,” said Dingle.

All the women who attended the workshop received certificates with beautiful calligraphy done by Sue Williams. “The certificates looked gorgeous,” Dingle concluded.
