Unity College recognises achievers

Unity College in Fourways hosted its annual intermediate and senior prize-giving ceremony on 6 December to award and recognise the schoolchildren for their social and academic achievements.

“The awards were in recognition of successfully meeting internally bench-marked criteria as well as externally moderated and accredited courses,” said Michelle Kirk, advancement officer of Unity College.

Kirk added that sport and culture achievements were also awarded on the evening.

“Being a value-driven school, the principal’s award was awarded to Christina Pachos for upholding and being the embodiment of the five Unity principles of honesty, integrity, perseverance, tolerance and respect.
