The chilly cold weather on 9 July did not stop parents and community members from coming out to support their children as they competed in a NBA Johannesburg League basketball tournament at St Peter’s College in Sunninghill.

REACHING: More basketball action from Magic (Dominican School) and Pistons (Phokeng Community) game.

Ten games were played by teams of the Eastern Conference, while eight games were played by teams of the Western Conference.

Stunning performances in the Eastern Conference came from the Bulls (Holy Family Rosebank) who beat the Hornets (Crawford College), and the Knicks (St John’s Collage Snr ) defeated the Raptors (St John’s Collage Jr).
