Riversands Farm Village hosts Dog Day event

Riversands Farm Village opened its gates to outdoor enthusiasts and their canine companions for a dog walk at their Dog Day event.

Steve Harris, the farm village manager said, “The walk was incredibly successful and we have decided to maintain the trail and invite dog lovers to come to the farm at any time and enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer with their four-legged pals.”

The walk took place in a woodland area with clearly marked trails specifically designed for dogs and catered for different fitness levels of the dog and its owner.

The day included fun competitions, a basic obedience test and an obstacle course.

Community members should look out for the next Dog Day function during winter this year.
