The first lesson is entitled Habits and Routines to Avert Crime. Founder and co-ordinator of the programme, Steyn said, “The criminals love to attack during the day when domestic [workers] and gardeners are in and out of the property and when the alarms are off.”
Steyn urged all domestic workers and gardeners to attend the meetings. “We have to equip employees with an abundance of ‘one step ahead’ [advice] of the criminals’ new habits and routines to avoid homeowners from being attacked,” she said.
The lesson will take place at 9.30am at Norscot Manor Recreation Centre located on 168 Penguin Drive in Fourways.
