Diepsloot children receive free uniforms
DIEPSLOOT- The Leslie Massina Foundation handed out school uniforms and shoes to orphaned children in Diepsloot.
The donations are meant to help 29 children in the impoverished township when schools open on 13 January.
The foundation’s executive director, Lucky Maduna, said their mission was to assist families that were headed by children or grannies.
“This foundation is engaged in assisting and providing support to orphaned and needy children living in child/orphan-headed and granny-headed families,” said Maduna.
Children from the following Diepsloot schools benefited: Muzomuhle Primary, Paradise Primary, Combined School, Reshomile Primary, Riverside, Iterele Zenzele High, Diepsloot Secondary, and Mosenga, Sunrise and Diepsloot primary schools.
