Top achievers of St Peter’s College all got six distinctions not seven

FOURWAYS - All the top five students from St Peter’s College produced six distinctions and none of them racked up seven, as we reported last week.

Fourways Review mistook the seven subjects which Harry Joannou, Rodger Wyllie and Tamzyn Rubbers passed as having delivered all of them with distinctions. We apologise for the mix-up.

Harry Joannou – six distinctions

Harry was a white blazer recipient at the college. Besides excellent academics, he is the proud recipient of South African colours for Scouts. Harry received a number of awards at prize giving; however it was the Headmaster’s Award that set him apart from his peers. The recipient is courageous, confident to act in accordance with his beliefs, has an inner strength and an honest outlook on life. Harry achieved an outstanding 96 percent for mathematics in his final results. His subjects are English, Afrikaans, mathematics, AP maths, accounting, geography and physical sciences.
