Sandton Park Football Club gives back to disadvantaged clubs

This year’s prize-giving was dedicated to two soccer teams from disadvantaged clubs in Soweto and Alexandra. The beneficiary teams received a donation of soccer boots provided by Chevrolet and soccer kit that comprises bibs, soccer balls and water bottles for the players and coaches.

Marco Martini, the chairperson of the club, said the annual initiative is part of the club’s social commitment aimed at contributing to the development of young soccer players.

“We want to assist disadvantaged communities when and where possible,” said Martini.
