Saint Peter’s College Equestrian Team excel

FOURWAYS - The St Peter's College equestrian team riders proved that hard work pays off after they achieved outstanding results in showjumping, dressage, working hunter and equitation so far this year.

 

The 16-rider team participated in the South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA), four qualifiers for Gauteng Metro Interschool’s Competition and various external and graded shows. The team exhibited passion, dedication and support for the sport which resulted in them achieving a victorious first place in the Equestrian Inter-school League, which comprises 12 to 16 teams.

A total of nine riders qualified to compete in the Gauteng regional level, which will take place from 8 to 10 August.

The nationals will take place in October.

The Gauteng team participants included Amy Crossley, Mikaila Fintelman, Caitlin Goodman, Imogen Imbert, Sarah Kickhofel, Nolo Maripane, Amy Shackleton, Andrew Thomas and Kayla van der Burgh.

The Gauteng Metro Awards evening will be held on 4 August at Beaulieu College.
