The Rabie Ridge Youth House and Classique Promotions joined hands to celebrate the day with the youth in their community.
“As leaders and partners in social responsibility, we hosted a fruitful youth event at the local park,” said Steven Deliwe of the youth house.
“Like it’s always been said, charity begins at home. We provided entertainment, some sporting challenges and fed people who attended.
“[A special thanks to] all the children and youth who came to have fun and enjoyed the day.”
He added that community members joined together to provide electricity and a sound system, and some adults came to the event to supervise the day.
“Some elders even came in their school uniform especially to help us out during the day,” he said.
He also happily reported that everyone went home by sunset to get ready for school the following day.
