10th Oyster & Wine festival set to rock Monte
MONTECASINO - BILLED to be bigger and better than ever before, the 10th Oyster Wine & Food Festival is hitting Montecasino this month.
The festival, a firm favourite for oyster lovers, will see delicious oysters, wine and food available to tantalise taste buds.
Indeed, Judith Lee, co-organiser of the festival from Full Volume events, promises that this year’s festival will be an unforgettable adventure.
“Everyone coming to the festival… will have a culinary adventure of note; they will have wide exposure to wine, champagne and oysters,” she said.
Another co-organiser from CELO Creative Concepts and Consulting, Jeanne Visser, echoed these sentiments, adding that there would be something for everyone; including craft beer which will be featured for the first time this year.
Visser said Montecasino was the ideal venue because of its location and attraction as an entertainment destination.
Glenn Joseph, general manager Montecasino, expressed excitement at having the festival at the casino, highlighting it as a first for them.
“We are excited to be welcoming the Oyster Wine & Food Festival… it is the first time Montecasino hosts an event of this nature [and] we have no doubt that it will be a great success and enjoyed by our patrons,” he said.
The 10th Oyster, Wine & Food Festival will run from 29 until 31 May.
