Modern princess comes to Fourways

FOURWAYS - Young author and business owner, Constance Bhebhe (24) is launching her first novel Modern Princess: A Young Woman's Guide to Creating a Balanced Life.

Bhebe was born to a South African father and a Zimababwean mother. She spent her childhood in Zimbabwe, but because of unrest in the country her family moved to North America when she was 12. She will soon be moving back to the country of her birth and is planning to live in Fourways.

Bhebhe explained that her desire to learn was not limited to the classroom, so she began taking business seminars at the age of 18. Between the ages of 18 and 22 she focused her attention on travel, business, natural beauty remedies and spirituality.

“I was always a lover of literature and knew that reading was an essential part of learning so I began documenting my learning in an effort to share with others,” Bhebhe said.

She wrote her first composition about a six-week trip to Scandinavia and has never looked back.

Bhebhe said her first novel conveyed the message that young women could take charge of their lives. She called this “creating your enchanted life”.

“At 22, I looked at my life and decided I needed to make a few changes. Although I was enjoying my life, travelling, dating, dining and experiencing things I had only dreamed of, I somehow felt that I wasn’t in charge. I soon came to realise that what I was seeking was balance,” she said.

The book covers the physical and metaphysical attributes of a woman including beauty, weight management, travel, money, mindset and self-development.
