Have a laugh for Barking Mad
FOURWAYS - Barking Mad Dogtown SA will be having a special fundraising event on 1 June at the Brazen Head at the Leaping Frog shopping centre, in Fourways.
Barking Mad is a specialised animal rehabilitation centre and its mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home South Africa’s abused and misunderstood animals. This non-profit organisation feeds dogs and cats in impoverished communities, decreases the suffering, abandonment and euthanasia of South African pets through education. It also conducts a spay and neuter programme and provides a central point for people looking to adopt and re-home their pets.
The fundraiser for the organisation will feature delicious food, amazing auction items and brilliant entertainment in the form of legendary comedian, Mel Miller and two of South Africa’s greatest musicians who have joined to form the band, Alter Irving.
The event will start at 11:30 am and will end at 12:00 pm. Tickets cost R 250.
