Talented youngsters vie for top place
MONTECASINO - Just You Model Management held an international talent showcase at La Toscana in Montecasino.
The showcase was a three-day event that included performances by singers, actors, models and dancers.
Attending the event was American talent scout Kim Myers who has scouted artists for the fashion, music, film and television industries.
The talented performers stood a chance of being chosen to study at the prestigious New York Film Academy.
Weeks of preparation went into the showcase but performers still managed to squeeze in a few minutes of extra practice before the show.
The backstage areas were also abuzz with make-up artists, performers and excited parents, eager for their children to be noticed.
Apart from Myers, the showcase also hosted music producer Tasha Stafford, CEO of Icon Studios.
American songwriter Nate Butler opened the show with a solo performance and also collaborated with South African hip-hop dancer, Tumi Tladi.
The winner of the showcase is yet to be announced.
